This is a log cabin variation. The alternate block is made using one fabric and cut the Stack and Whack method that Bethany Reynolds perfected. This results in each "flower" block being a little different. I purchased this border fabric several years ago and then would not use until I thought up a design I thought would make the best use of it. It is machine quilted with invisible thread in a meandering design so the quilting would not detract from the piecing design. It has low loft 20 % poly 80% cotton batting. Backing is white and has large flowers that are the same colors as the flowers on front. Finished with a prairie point edging. Made in a smoke free, pet free home.
